About the author (2008)

Dr. Linda Carlson , and Marilyn Felix , felt driven to write this extraordinary book. Appalled and frustrated with ever-increasing student failure statistics, and sympathetic with teachers struggling under insurmountable government mandates, they have created a unique verbal documentary. The authors have over 50 combined years of teaching experience at all levels. They have used world-wide surveys, personal communications and broad experience in different teaching settings as the raw fabric for this book. The vast host of contributors ranged from H.R.H. Prince Charles to a Greenlandic teacher.
