About the author (2006)

RANDAL W. SUMMERS is an adjunct professor in the Business Administration Program at the University of Phoenix, Northern California campus. He is a general partner and executive director in the consulting firm of Summers & Associates.

ALLAN M. HOFFMAN is Dean and Professor of the College of Health Sciences at Des Moines University, and Director of the Center for the Prevention of Community Violence. He is the author of Schools, Violence and Society (Praeger, 1996) and Teen Violence: A Global View (Greenwood, 2000).
