About the author (2002)

Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. conducts the business and manages the assets of the Elvis Presley Trust and estate at Graceland. Mike Evans has been writing about popular music since the 1970s, when he was a regular contributor to the UK's top music weekly newspaper, Melody Maker. He is the author of the much-acclaimed The Art of the Beatles, and since the early 1990s has worked in publishing, where he has commissioned and edited over 60 titles on rock 'n' roll, jazz, and popular culture. Mike lives and works in London, England.
