This book has a lot of mini mysteries in it. Could be used again as a lit circle book. Could be a classroom library/daily read where students try and figure out the mysteries on their own, whether in groups or individually. Read full review

About the author (1977)

Donald J. Sobol was born in 1924. He is the creator of the Encyclopedia Brown series. In addition, he has written the "Wacky" series and the "Encyclopedia Brown Record Books." His awards include the Pacific Northwest Reader's Choice Award for Encyclopedia Brown Keeps the Peace and a special Edgar from the Mystery Writers of America for contribution to mystery writing in the United States.
