I have read and reread most of the Ender books. Orson Scott Card is on the short list of masters story tellers that know how to put together great characters and back-stories within stories that one can easy see in the movie screen of your mind. I will be seeing the movie tonight, there is very little chance it will hold up well to the book, one can only hope. If you have only seen the movie, do not make the mistake of not reading the books. With any luck movie makers will keep on trying to get it right, like in the Dune books(the small screen did a much better job than the big screen}.
