This is one of the books I read in junior high school, 1965 to 1966, that really opened my mind to applied science. Another book that was written by Martin Caidin was about modifying the X-B 70 as an SST, but I don't recall that title.
Fun read about what could happen if you throw enough money into projects like the Gibraltar Dam and a trans Siberian Hiway through Alaska.
If anyone ahs copies I'd enjoy borrowing.
