GODFREY HARRIS is President and Chief Executive Officer of Harris/Ragan Management Group, a Los Angeles public policy consulting firm. He has participated in all of the firms principal consulting assignments for such clients as the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce, the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, the Government of Panama, the Government of St. Kitts-Nevis, the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Transtelex Limited, International Publishers Alliance, the Society of International Travel Representatives, the Foreign Policy Association of Panama, the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association, Pulsatron Technology Ltd., and others.

Prior to founding the company in 1968, Mr. Harris was Special Assistant to the President of the IOS Development Company in Geneva; a U.S. Foreign Service Officer with diplomatic assignments in Washington, Bonn, and London; and a Management Analyst in the President's Executive Office with responsibility for management and organizational matters in the foreign affairs and commercial sectors of the U.S. Federal government.

Mr. Harris has also taught political science at UCLA and Rutgers, conducted negotiation training for the US Corps of Engineers, presented tourism seminars at the American Embassy, London, Clemson University, and the University of Hawaii; and written or co-authored 23 books on public policy issues and business topics including Concentration, The Ultimate Black Book, Promoting International Tourism to the Year 2000 and Beyond, How to Generate Word of Mouth Advertising, European Union Almanac, The Panamanian Problem, Mapping Russia and Its Neighbors, Power Buying, Talk Is Cheap, Commercial Translations, and TheQuest for Foreign Affairs Officers. Mr. Harris holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.

During his career, Mr. Harris has served with the Association of Management Consultants, the American Foreign Service Association, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the North American Chapter of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Society of International Travel Representatives, Friends Assisting Friends, the Mentally Gifted Minor Advisory Committee of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, and the Stanford Alumni Association. He has been honored with a Los Angeles County Resolution of Commendation, the Book Publicists Marketing Award of 1996, the US Army Commendation Medal, election to Phi Beta Kappa, and multiple listings in Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in the West, and Who's Who in California.

Mr. Harris is married, has three children and two grandsons. He makes his home in Los Angeles, California.
