I haven't seen this edition, but I rely on my Second Edition (1980) constantly as I teach courses in research and evaluation. Scriven writes with authority, clarity, and refreshing humor on this important topic. Great reference for students, faculty, practitioners or organizations conducting or considering conducting an evaluation of programs.
