About the author (1999)

Martin is the wife of NASCAR great Mark Martin.

Prensky received her B.A. in journalism and communications from the State University of New York at Albany. She was Boston's first female sports radio talk host for WEEI-Radio. A member of the Boston Sports Advisory Council and the New England's Women's Fund, Ms. Prensky helped establish the annual New England Women's Sports Award Reception and the New England Women's Sports Hall of Fame.
