About the author (2009)

Betty Serra-Rojas is a first generation Latin American, born and raised in San Francisco, California.  She works full-time at an insurance company as a staff investigator and resides in the Bay Area peninsula. She enjoys singing boleros, dancing cumbias, driving along the scenic pacific coast, reading, writing and drawing inspiration from her Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian heritage legacy.
