Fear: Bloodcurdling Short Stories is a collection of morbid, terrifying, horrific, and gruesome short horror stories intended to give any reader the chills. And maybe keep them awake at night, fearful of unseen movements in the dark. In “Déjà Vu,” a woman wakes up from a very scary dream . . . only to find herself stuck in that very same nightmare. “Snack, Anyone?” follows the brief tale of a woman who, after waking up in a deserted hospital, finds her mother dead. After watching videos of a monster eat its way out of her mother, she runs for help only to be immobilized as something in her belly begins to move and starts to eat its way out. Lacey, a six-year-old girl, keeps waking up to a little gnome harassing her in her bedroom. After weeks of sleepless nights, Lacey’s mother takes action and “pretends” to get rid of the gnome and bury it in their backyard. Later that night, Lacey wakes again to an angry gnome, ready to devour her in “Buried Nightmares.” In “Fuzztails,” a couple out on a romantic walk is attacked by hundreds upon hundreds of decaying rabbits bent on eating them alive. Will any of the characters survive?
