Fear God and the Shadow of the Muslim Sword is a study of Islam and the men leading it in the twenty-first century.

I am neither a preacher nor a politician. I am an author caught up in a sensitive subject most secular societies are unfamiliar with. This book is a rational explanation without bias. It is based on both historical fact and books written by modern Muslim leaders themselves, it is not an attack on the religion based on personal agenda.

My research told a different story than what has become common on the editorial pages of American newspapers and contradictory to what the leaders of the American Muslim community are saying. The fact however is, that, with limited exceptions, the term moderate is not compatible when used in a sentence with the word Islam, except to describe what Islam is not!

Challenge me if you will, but put rhetoric aside and research your own beliefs first.

"Islam is a revolutionary doctrine and system that overturns governments. It seeks to overturn the whole universal social order and to establish its structure anew. Islam seeks the world.  It is not satisfied by a piece of land but demands the whole universe Jihad is at the same time offensive and defensive The Islamic party does not hesitate to utilize the means of war to implement its goal." This book should be mandatory reading for any free world leader who would wish to understand what the west is up against in the radical Islamic world. We Americans are painfully ignorant of the history of Islam and fail to understand the difference between how we view and pray to a merciful God and how the Muslim world only worships a God who demands the destruction of all who would not abandon their own faith for Islam.
Mr. Pat is to be commended for creating such a concise and easily understood treatise on a subject that very well may decide the future of western civilization.

Page 14 - THEN Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

About the author (2008)

Mr. Pat resides in a coastal town in Florida, but he has lived, traveled and worked in numerous countries throughout the Middle East and Africa. After having authored two early books based on his experience dealing with the situations he encountered in the world of Islam he embarked on a study of the Prophet, Muhammad, the religion he founded and the Muslim’s Jihad of world conversion to Islam. Fear God and the Shadow of the Muslim Sword is the result of that study. Written without a political, religious or personal agenda, it is a refreshing and honest appraisal of the religion of Islam and the Muslim family in the world today.
