Ferrets are playful, fun-loving animals, but inexperienced owners need detailed advice on their care and keeping. Books in the Complete Pet Owner's Manuals series present basic information for new or soon-to-be owners. Advice and instruction covers feeding, housing, health care, training, grooming, and much more. Texts emphasize pet care basics and are easy for all readers to understand. All books in this series are filled with high quality full-color photos and instructive line drawings.

This is a good beginners book on ferret care, however the information in it is very limited. Since there are very few ferret books on the market it is worth getting your hands on any that are available, if you want to be the best ferret owner that you can be. I think this is one of the first books that I was able to find in Australia and was very happy with it at the time.
These days there are more ferret books on the market with a wider variety of information, which are probably a better buy.
Also you can find heaps of ferret information on the internet that is constantly updated such as ferret society websites (which can be found in nearly every country where ferrets exist around the world), Ferret-World (http://www.Ferret-World.com) and other fantastic websites.
Hope this review has helped! :)
