About the author (2008)

Allen Salkin's writing has appeared everywhere from the "New York Times "to "Yoga Journal," and his article "Fooey to the World," which was the basis for this book, was one of the most-read articles of the year. He lives in New York City and teaches Journalism and Writing at NYU.

Jerry Stiller earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series and an American Comedy Award for his role as Frank Costanza on "Seinfeld." He currently appears on "The King of Queens" on CBS and has graced the Broadway stage and the silver screen. He lives in New York City.
