RUDY J. FAVRETTI, Professor Emeritus of Landscape Architecture at the University of Connecticut, is an authority in landscape history and restoration. He has advised on restoring and reproducing many important gardens, including those at Montecello.

JOY P. FAVRETTI, abotanist and professional librarian with degress from Cornell University and University of Rhode Island, authored Savred Inheritance and coauthored Landscapes and Gardens for Historical Buildings with Rudy Favretti.
