About the author (2012)

 Dr. Mark Lui was born Yuk-Ming Lui in Hong Kong. He received his medical degree and fellowship in Radiology from the University of Manitoba, Canada. He was awarded an A+ on his final specialist’s examination. He published an article regarding the structure, size and shape of the basic unit of the lung, the pulmonary acinus, which is essential in understanding the various lung diseases. He was voted the best teacher three years in a row by the Radiology residents of the University of Alberta, Canada. His most recent innovation is a test which can reliably detect pre-cancerous colon polyps with an unprecedented combination of a low miss rate, low cost, low complication, low discomfort, and low radiation dosage.
