What if you could change the world?

What if you had already changed the world and didn't know it? That is the case of this curious tale, which begins in the middle, then proceeds to the beginning before arriving at the end. And I assure you, it is all true! (That is to say, it will be.)

As I relate this narrative to the writer of this volume, those involved are unaware of what they have done and what they will do. That is why I have changed the names and places in this story. I do not wish to influence those persons upon whom these characters are based perchance they should read this volume before they experience the events for themselves. As Jason Fletcher will once have said, "There is a difference between knowing something happened and experiencing it."

For that reason I must warn you, if you think you are one of the people about whom I speak, you may want to set this book aside at once.
