About the author (2005)

Rachael Matthews has spearheaded extreme knitting in the UK. As co-founder of the Cast Off knitting club she has worked tirelessly to promote knitting as a healthy pastime and her enthusiasm for the sport has introduced a wide cross-section of people to the craft. She has appeared on the BBC, been featured in Bust Magazine, Vogue Knitting Knit 1 Magazine, In-Knitter Magazine and Knitty.com. When she traveled to NY for the first time last year she won the hearts of the New York glitterati.
