This book starts out sad, with the history leading up to the stories. It reminded me very much of my sister's situation, with two disabled children, one physically, one emotionally, and her divorce and starting life over.
Then came all the stories from families of unique children, and I love how easy it is to see how wonderfully special each of our children are- after the fact. The only thing I wish is that there was a larger compilation of these stories, and that the stories were more than just quick snippets. I'd have loved more of a slice of life style. But I can't hold that against the author, that's just what one reader wants.
I will say that the writing was very well done.
