This is a beautifully sumptuous book that is a companion volume to an exhibition that we saw in Melbourne, Australia in 2004. Anyone interested in gardens and gardening, or the social history of a nation as reflected in something as ubiquitous as gardening would enjoy this delightful book. Read full review
