Gardening in Malaya

Front Cover
Read Books, 2009 - Gardening - 90 pages
First published in 1926 this historical gardening book is a detailed study of gardening in this former british colony. In its complete and unabridged original form, containing information on once rare and exotic but now more readily available plants, it is full of instruction that is as useful and practical today as it was when originally published. A worthy addition to the bookshelf of any gardening enthusiast. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.

I would be delighted to write a review of this old book by my late uncle Eric St Clair Morford, if I could only get my hands on a copy, other than from India .
Any suggestions

At long last , a copy of this book now sits on my Australian book shelf !
A VOICE FROM THE PAST
Uncle Eric was a prolific letter writer , and the casual and informal manner in which he wrote this little book in 1926, is echoed in the letters he sent to my mother , in subsequent years , and that are still in my posession.
Much much better books are now available on the subject of tropical gardening. This book is important in that it paints a word picture of the life and gardening hobby of a man in "The Colonies" in a bygone age when resources were limited and practical solutions had to be found.......if you follow , you will get your hands very dirty.
