About the author (1986)

Jennifer Hickenbottom has always loved to write. She found her niche in the writing world after adopting Herb while living in a small apartment in a little town of Minerva, Oh. She began working at a fancy dress store in the alterations department, just like Marcy in the story. She has written four stories in the series The Tales of Two Kitties, yet only two are published thus far. Among other interests she has completed an Associates of Science in Business Administration to be able to own and manage her own business. In September, 2013 she opened her very own business, Alterations Etc., where she works from home, allowing her to spend time with Sabrina & Sydney. It is her hopes to one day have a storefront and a dress rental business so girls everywhere can afford pretty dresses. Jenny grew up in Alpine, California & went to high school in Corry, Pennsylvania. She made the venture away from the nest to Minerva, Ohio in 2002 at the age of 19 to go on to learn many of life's valuable lessons. She currently lives in Barnesville, Ohio with husband, Nathanael, and two girls, Sabrina & Sydney. Jenny one day hopes to own a home big enough for her alterations business, writing room, and a swimming pool.
