This is a great book. Finally, a book that helps to get me the general reader into the OT, and the mind and heart of God. I am so grateful. Bible Christians who rip this book need to re-think their thinking. They are missing great treasures that any careful reader will find from a slow reading of this amazing book. If you don't like WB for some reason, look up the verses that he cites. It is amazing the way he brings in teaching from other parts of the Bible and the NT to enhance the theological ideas found in the texts of Genesis. I feel sorry for the children of these negative reviewers. What chance do they have to hear of the wonder and mystery of our Lord and God?
