George Washington's Legacy of Leadership

Front Cover
Morgan James Publishing, 2007 - Biography & Autobiography - 459 pages
A. Ward Burian first developed his interest in George Washington as a student of history at Dartmouth College. His business career started at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and several New York banks before partnering the creation of a money market and bond-trading firm in Wall Street and London. He then co-partnered and managed a residential real estate brokerage in Connecticut. Mr. Burian's love of history brought him to Williamsburg where he is an associate member of the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, a volunteer for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, a volunteer researcher for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and an instructor at the Christopher Wren Association, which was founded by the College of William & Mary. He also lectures about the life of George Washington at civic, social and educational organizations. This is his first book.
