Finally... a fluency technique that actually works. The author wanted to share her discovery with other adults who stutter. While approaching adults who stutter, she realized that adults do not want to discuss their speech with others, even when being offered something that would help. So she decided to write a book, to give adults a private format in which to deal with their stuttering. This book helps to demystify stuttering, and gives simple directions for using a fluency technique that actually works and is easy to use. It is written in nontechnical terms, so it is easy to navagate. It gives you the possibility of changing your life.

About the author (2010)

Cheri Jensen is a retired public school Speech Pathologist, who currently lives in Saint Paul, MN. As a professional, the area of stuttering has been her focus since 1988. Since Cheri also stutters, she had a special interest in finding techniques that decreased stuttering, and gave those who stuttered more control over their speech. The Cheri J. Stretch Technique for Fluency, to help control and reduce stuttering, was developed out of her great concern for her students who stuttered.
