Noted fashion illustrator Tom Tierney has recaptured Greta Garbo in three lifelike dolls and 33 meticulously rendered costumes from 27 movies. From her first motion picture appearance in "Peter the Tramp" (1921) through two dozen starring roles in MGM films, here is the incomparable Garbo and the designs by Adrian, Max Ree, Clement Andre-Ani and Gilbert Clark that helped create the mystique. The glamorous collection included billowy gowns and svelte evening dress, fur capes and cloaks, exotic Far Eastern creations, swim suits and sportswear worn in many films.
