Ted Hake established Hake's Americana & Collectibles, the first auction house to specialize in 20th century American pop culture, in 1967. He is a frequent guest on radio shows, was an appraiser on public television's popular "Antiques Roadshow" and is a featured expert on The History Channel's "History of Toys.
