This impressive book has information on every aspect of Halo, with detailed and beautiful illustrations. It is a fascinating insight into the more obscure areas of the Halo storyline and a must buy for any halo fan wanting to know more about the background and characters from the video games and books. Every page is packed with amazing artwork from the Halo universe. There's something for everyone whether you're into the technical details or just concept art.
There is a timeline as well as individual historical chapters. The introduction gives an outline of the Halo Universe in the 26th century, from the Covenant to the creation of the Spartans to the discovery of the ring world known as "Halo. There are chapters on Humans, the Spartans, the Covenant, the technology of the Halo Universe, types of ships and the myriad of weapons used in the games. To complete the feast of information is a useful glossary.
