Handwriting Workout is properly sequenced and divided according to letter families, such as downward strokes, clockwise and counterclockwise movements, descenders, and so on. This division helps students focus on a specific movement pattern that they can then associate with the letter. Handwriting Workout provides a good basic model for handwriting practice. Although schools may use a different program, the basic movements are standard to all programs, and slight variations should not be a problem. Handwriting Workout encourages teachers to stress neatness and legibility in student handwriting - not perfection!
