About the author (1983)

Samuel N. Rosenberg is a professor of French and Italian and Hans Tischler is a professor emeritus of musicology at Indiana University. Both have published widely and collaborated previously on "Chanter m'estuet, Songs of the Trouveres: A Critical Anthology of French Lyric Poetry in the Twelfth and Thirteenth Centuries" (1981).
