About the author (1991)

Kathryn Kilby Borland and Helen Ross Speicher are the authors of two of the original Childhood of Famous Americans series ("Alan Pinkerton, Young Detective and "Eugene Field, Young Poet)" from which the Young Patriots series was derived. Cathy Morrison is the illustrator of "Ignacio's Chair. She lives in Littleton, Colorado.
