About the author (1999)

Dr Rosemary Stanton has written many scientific papers, several textbooks and more than 30 books on nutrition. She is currently a Visiting Fellow in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of New South Wales and has been awarded an Order of Australia for her services to community health through education in nutrition and dietetics.
