These handsomely illustrated, fact filled volumes instruct owners on the general care of their dogs, cats, birds, and other pets, and advise hobbyists who are setting up home aquariums or terrariums. Books in the Complete Pet Owner's Manuals series present basic information for new or soon to be owners on topics that include feeding, housing, health care, training, grooming, protection against hazards, and much more. Texts are clearly written and easy for all readers to understand, but most titles in this series also contain facts and advice that even experienced pet owners and breeders will find new and useful. All Pet Owner's Manuals are filled with high quality full color photos and instructive line drawings.

I have a local library and I have checked out this book many times. It is the most outstanding book about hedgehogs I have ever read! My cousin has one, and I have been trying to find out more about them. This is the best book. I totally recommend this book. Also, the pictures are good, and if you have young children that want one, show them the pictures of when they are first born. It is amazing how small they are! 5 stars!
