Hi Melvin:
Roy and I were honored to be visited by your mother and father back in the late 1990s here in Yukon, OK.
I guess Ruby has passed away by now as I haven't heard from her in a couple of
years. Always got a Christmas letter from her, very newsy at that.
I am a descendant of Daniel Rice. I wish it were possible to print part of the book online, but it isn't. However, I do have a book. Bought it at the Museum of Appalachia. Very proud to have a copy.
You and your mother did a great job doing the research and posting research references in it too.
Sincerely,
Gloria Rice West
