Tim Hopgood is a rising picture book star who is fast winning acclaim for his unique and bold style. HERE COMES FRANKIE! follows on from the success of A DOG CALLED ROD (978-1-4050-9269-2, shortlisted for the British Book Design Awards) and OUR BIG BLUE SOFA (978-1-4050-9074-2, longlisted for the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal). A graduate of Kingston University, Tim worked for twenty years in graphic design and freelance illustration. He now lives in York with his wife and their two quite noisy children - one of whom plays the drums!
