Darlene Lewis shares an insight into the Hip Hop music industry BEFORE it became more popular to just look good, wear flashy clothes and sell records versus having actual talent. It's definitely a great and easy read. If you don't know anything about hip hop, this is a good place to start. It's also great to read this book if you want to refresh yourself with what the FOUNDATION of Hip Hop music is...Hip Hop BEFORE the BLING...there was a time BEFORE the BLING! Truly!
