About the author (2003)

\Terry M. Mays is Assistant Professor of Political Science at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. He is the author of Historical Dictionary of the American Revolution (Scarecrow Press) and co-author of Historical Dictionary of International Organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa, 2nd Edition (Scarecrow Press). He has conducted peacekeeping research at centers in Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Nigeria, and Norway and visited the United Nations Disengagement Observation Force (UNDOF) and the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) in the Middle East.
