About the author (2006)

After studying Arabic Denyse Devlin worked as a translator in Iraq. She also lived in the USA, Belgium, Australia, Italy and the UK before settling in Co Cork with her husband in 1987. She has two teenage daughters. Hopscotch is her fourth novel
