About the author (1997)

Tim Wood is a third-generation horticulturist who started his career at his family nursery at the age of eight. He currently is Product Development Manager for Spring Meadow Nursery in Grand Haven, Michigan, a national, wholesale propagation nursery. Tim holds a master's degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Michigan State University. Tim's articles and photographs have appeared in American Nurseryman, Garden Center magazine, Country Living Gardener, Midwest Living and Better Homes and Gardens. He also is a nationally recognized speaker and frequently addresses horticulture and nursery organizations across the United States.
