Houses of the world.- It is the first book of such characteristics to be made in Ecuador: projects of important architects from 23 countries in 4 continents, a fully national production, and the quality of the best publishers in the world. From the projects that make up the book we can observe trends common to rationalism that are constructed from different materials and techniques and other interesting explorations. Despite the use of a common language, the results differ due to designs that approach differently the use of light, color, materials, directions, visuals and tours within the spaces. There is evidence as well of varying degrees of speculation regarding architecture, its theory and practice, manifested in pieces that go beyond the perpetuation of what is already known.
