About the author (2005)

Steve Michael was born in Greece on the island of Rhodes, but his family came to the United States in the 1940s and settled in Baltimore. Steve attended college and became a teacher in the Baltimore County Public School system. After he retired, he became a personal trainer and diet consultant. At age 72, he inspires others in the community with his health and fitness strategies and is a popular guest speaker at local senior centers.
