About the author (1990)

Marvin Heiferman is an author and exhibition curator who is currently providing creative consultation to the Smithsonian Institution's Photographic Initiative. He is the author of numerous books including John Watersa (TM) Change of Life, Paradise Now: Picturing the Genetic Revolution, and Talking Pictures: People Speak About the Photographs that Speak to Them. Heiferman is an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts, New York.

Kismaric was a founding editorof the Time-Life Photography series.
