"In the beginning, God created Alabama," from which Adam Bob and Eveleen were banished because they ate the forbidden asparagus. This book humorously outlines the Old Testament from a Southern perspective without losing the integrity of the message.

I absolutely LOVE this book. A friend of mine saw Mr. Thompson at a conference where he was the guest speaker and she bought this book for me. I laughed and laughed while reading it. You really have to know the bible stories and football and some pop culture to get all of this book's humor but I was right on top of it.... Great book!! Although..... I really think Louisiana is God's Country not Alabama ; ) Five stars in my opinion!
