About the author (1994)

Gabriel Meyer is an award-winning foreign correspondent who has lived and worked throughout the Middle East and the Balkans; he was especially acclaimed for his coverage of the first Palestinian intifada and of the Bosnian war. In addition to his journalistic work, Meyer has published poetry and two novels. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
