Incident on the way to a killing
Ex-Confederate officer Lake Mattick is on his way to take vengeance on a fellow officer when he and the party of five he has just joined stumble onto an Indian hunting party. In a moment of panic, one of the cowhands starts shooting. From that moment on, the outnumbered party is in a desperate struggle for survival against the pursuing Indians and the bitter winter weather.
