About the author (2013)

Evan Katz, M.C., LPC, MAC is known by colleagues and clients alike as "The Anger Guy." With over 15 years as a psychotherapist, he is considered an expert in anger assessments and a specialist in counseling angry men and high risk, angry teens. Evan has provided over 250 court-ordered anger assessments and substance abuse evaluations. He has testified as an expert in both criminal and domestic proceedings. He has been court appointed as a mitigation specialist on several death penalty cases: uncovering psychosocial data relevant to the accused. Evan is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and is certified as a Master Addiction Counselor by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. He is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of GA. Evan is a military veteran; honorably discharged in 1987. He is also qualified as a Military Family Life Consultant for the Department of Defense. He has recorded two cd's and written this wonderful book, "Inside the Mind of an Angry Man." Evan Katz has been interviewed countless times by organizations such as: Men's Health magazine, Psychotherapy Finances, Teens Talk Truth, WREK FM in Atlanta, Appen Newspapers and nationally recognized counseling associations. He runs seminars, does keynote presentations and small community workshops. Most recently he was featured as the Back Page Story for Rebel magazine (March/April 2012).
