International Yearbook: Communication Design, 1999-2000
Overflowing with fresh creativity this exciting annual presents the best communication design produced in Europe at the end of the 20th century. 894 designers and 100 clients from eleven countries submitted over 2300 works from which a panel of jurists chose 27 award winners. Explaining the selection criteria one jurist said, "Good communication design initially appeals to the gut and then establishes itself in the intellect." Dutch agency Limage Dangereuse won the grand prize for their 'Father Business' website design. Other award categories include television and electronic media, product communications, advertising, culture and sport, publishing and multimedia.
