The fast gun sheriff gets fed up with an outlaw gang in his area. He and his deputy make up a human looking dummy and hang it high on the hangman's scaffold. All question why it's not smellin' up the town. The sheriff has a good answer. A domineering aunt brings her niece on the stage to Oatman. The aunt hates the west and all that's in it, especially the men. When the outlaws find out the sheriff stopped a gold shipment. They kidnap the two women to try forcing him to change his mind. The woman pray all night. A contest is put on with prize money to lure the outlaws to town. Two Indians follow them back to their hide-out, then lead the law to capture them and rescue the women.
