About the author (2000)

Elaine Sternberg is a Research Fellow of the Centre for Business and Professional Ethics, University of Leeds, and Principal of Analytical Solutions, a consultancy firm specialising in business ethics and corporate governance. During her career to date, she has spent fourteen years as an investment banker in London, New York, and Paris; founded and ran two multi-million-pound profitable businesses; and has also lectured on business ethics at the London Business School.
