About the author (1996)

Norma Dixon is the author of Lowdown on Earthworms and is now researching the lowdown on mollusks. Norma has worked as an ad writer and a school programs guide at the Vancouver Museum and the VanDusen Botanical Gardens. She lives in Vancouver.

Linda Hendry has illustrated more than 60 children's books. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art in Calgary, Alberta, she began her career doing freelance illustrations for magazines. Linda lives near Eden Mills, Ontario.
